Which contacts are pulled from Aspire?

myInbox pulls custodial and emergency contacts only; it does not pull non-custodial contacts. Additionally, 'emergency' contacts are re-labeled to 'alternate' contacts. Non-custodial contacts are not pulled into myInbox

All mass messages go to custodial contacts only; they do not go to alternate contacts. However, you can message alternate contacts individually from the Contacts tab, such as when custodial contacts can't be contacted. Alternate contacts receive no notifications otherwise.

Custodial and alternate contacts can opt out of messaging by changing their subscriptions on the Contact Preferences page. Schools can also change subscription settings for contacts via proxy.
