Review Before Next Lottery Run

The goal is to zero out these items.

IMPORTANT - We suggest keeping these items as close to zero as possible because they will hold up available spots for the next lottery.

You can Proxy as the parent and view the application to see where the application process ended.

A couple reasons for an incomplete application:

  • The person just may have forgotten to push submit. If this is the case, reach out to the parent.  Schools can View the record and Proxy as the parent and finish the application to send it through to Submitted, On The Waitlist.
  • The person may have stopped because they thought it was a different school they were applying to that has the same name in another state.
  • It can also happen when current students are notified on the application that they don't need to fill it out.

When you see this category listed on your dashboard, it means the Student Information System (SIS) is not matching up with Lottery.

Steps to clear this list:

  1. Click the total count for this row and the record will highlight in red what's not matching.
  2. Correct the highlighted information within the SIS or myLottery.
  3. myLottery will try again to match the records within the hour.  If it doesn't update within two hours, check the data again.
  4. If the information is still not matching, it could be because their SIS number is not correct. Click here for additional help.

Claims Needing Approval gives applicants a higher priority if the clam is approved.

Sibling Attending Preference

Click the total count for this row and a record will pop-up highlighting the sibling preference. You can select the Approve or Deny buttons to clear this list.
