myLottery Support / Home Dashboard / Offered Spot in Lottery
The numbers in these categories are helpful so you can calculate the average number of students who complete the enrollment process and possibly anticipate the number of declines by grade level over the course of a year.
Numbers shown in the Offered Spot in Lottery category is the total number of students who have been offered a spot in the school.
Applications are automatically filtered through the following categories according to the steps of the enrollment process: Offered-Pending, Offered-Accepted, Offered-Enrolled, Offered-Declined or Offered-Withdrawn.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Offered-Pending / Offered-Accepted from SY25 will hold up spots in your lottery for SY26. For example, if you have 12 students in SY25 who have pending offers, then you run a lottery for SY26, if the 12 students for SY25 end up enrolling the next day, there's potentially 12 fewer spots available. If you're under-enrolled and have spots regardless, then you'd be fine either way. They'll eventually catch up with each other over the course of a couple of weeks.
Offered - Pending means the student has been offered a spot in the school. The school is waiting for them to accept or decline their offer.
IMPORTANT - We suggest keeping this list as close to zero as possible because these will hold up available spots for the next lottery.
Offered - Accepted means the family has accepted the offer from the school. They are now sent a link to the SIS (i.e Aspire) to register.
IMPORTANT - We suggest keeping this list as close to zero as possible because these will hold up available spots for the next lottery.
Offered - Enrolled means the registration packet has been completed in the SIS (Student Information System)
Schools must now accept their registration in the SIS and the student will be matched in myLottery.
IMPORTANT - If the student does not show up in the "student demographic export" they will not show up in myLottery.
Offered - Declined means the family or the school has declined the offer from the school and a Decline email will be sent.
Offered - Withdrawn means if schools withdraw a student from the SIS, it will withdraw them from the lottery automatically at the top of the hour and a Withdrawn email will be sent.
